Presbyterian Women

Churchville's Presbyterian Women, open to all women friends and members of the congregation, is dedicated to study of the word and to service. The PW sponsor two circles that meet for Bible study and fellowship from January through June and September through November. The Phoebe Circle meets at 10AM on the third Wednesday of each month and enjoys several outings each year. The Saturday Morning Circle meets at 9AM on each second Saturday for breakfast and study, typically in the home of a member. The PW sponsors dinners each year for the Harford County Bird Club and other local organizations. Proceeds from these events are used to support Mission projects. In 2003, the PW co-sponsored "Tools of Hope and Blanket Sunday" with the CPC Mission Committee, raising more than $1000 for Church World Service. The PW also supported CPC's efforts for the homeless by providing a dinner for our guests and other needed support services. The PW holds an annual Christmas dinner that is enjoyed by all.
