WOW (Words of Wisdom) Ministry

Just as our young people need the support of their biological families as they begin to "strike out on their own," so do they need the care and guidance of their church family.

We at Churchville Presbyterian Church have a unique ministry designed to communicate our continuing love and care to our high school graduates. As these young people pursue higher education or advanced training goals, they are being prayed for and contacted on a regular basis by their own personal WOW Partner!

WOW ("Words of Wisdom") Partners are adult members of the congregation, many of whom are retired, who agree to pray regularly for a specific student during the school year. They also send notes of encouragement, special greeting cards, and perhaps even "care packages" or clippings of local news to those who are living away from home.
